If you walk east down the short Via Giovanni Lanza, you end up in a park called Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II. Walk through this small park to the other side, and you will come upon a large building housing the "New Market." What an experience! Tom said it reminded him of a huge market he had visited earlier in the year in Chile. An abundance of meat, sea food, fruit, and vegetables (of unknown names and origins) gave the casual visitor plenty to photograph!
