Once Tom peeked in the door of the tent, I knew we were going to the circus. It had already started on Christmas eve when we found it, but it was going strong on the day after Christmas, when we found ourselves at the tent by the river's edge, near the train station.

The cost was cheap, and the audience excited. I hadn't been to a circus since high school days, but I wasn't prepared for how entertaining this small bigtop would prove to be!
