Piglet Circus, Act 2

I must admit, we really got our money's worth out of this circus. I thought the entire show would probably be at most one hour, but it was closer to two. After an intermission, in which the adult audience hit the beer and popcorn and the children fidgeted, the show resumed with a series of fresh acts.

Umbrella trapeze artist

This young woman was probably the best overall performer in the show, and was featured in the majority of the acts. In the second half, she not only did the umbrella trapeze act, but did the Western gunfight, the bicycle riders, the pig who sang with the microphone, and the finale. She was also incredibly fit!

Flying on the high trapeze

I left this show feeling incredibly mellow, almost sad, it was such a nostalgic, child-like, but thoroughly enjoyable experience. If you ever get the opportunity, be sure to visit the Piglet Circus. "Dogs look up to us. Cats look down on us. Only pigs treat us as equals." Quote from Churchill--and motto of the Piglet Circus. Check out their story.
